Calorie Deficit -Who Should Avoid It (Unless Under A Dietitian’s Guidance)

This is to avoid incidences where a person limits a nutrient they may require in higher amounts for the management of a condition.

In essence, it is advisable to seek a dietitian’s guidance through a calorie deficit so that they tailor it to your individual requirements taking into account your BMR and activity level. Persons with various health conditions that require dietary alteration should consult a dietitian to assist to prevent too much restriction of nutrients that may be necessary.
