How To Care For The Various Kitchen Equipment-Part 2

This post will look at more kitchen equipment and how to care for them.

Cooking pot and pans- Select those that are durable have a thick base, and  with flat bottom. Once the pots and pans are purchased they should be cleaned carefully. Clean with hot soapy water. Avoid scouring. In case of stains, use a rubber scraper. Once washed, dry with cloth and store in dry area. Do not use abrasives.

Baking tins-Use appropriate temperatures while in the oven. Wash with hot soapy water. Store them in dry place

Cutlery -Choose those that are easy to clean and durable. They should not rust. Don’t use abrasives when cleaning them. Should with hot soapy water, and stored dried place. A for other equipment such as sieves whisks etc. They should be leaned in hot soapy water and well-dried. If metallic, choose those that do not rust. If plastic, avoid subjecting them to heat.
